What's in My Mouth

Remember that it is important to brush well around all of your brackets.
Food collections may cause cavities, stains, and permanent scars on your teeth.

Remember if a band or bracket becomes loose or falls off, please save the bracket and call our office to schedule a longer appointment than usual. Regardless of when your appointment is, please call us at 801-262-1500 to let us know because regular appointments do not allow enough time to complete these procedures. Also remember, loose orthodontic appliances can lead to a longer treatment time.

  • Poor elastic wear increases treatment time 4-6 months.
  • Poor hygiene increases treatment time 3 months.
  • Broken brackets increases treatment time 4-6 months.
